很早就聽聞過老饕對 French Cafe 的介紹,也一直想體驗這家富有濃厚法國風味的餐館。在奧克蘭的知名餐館中,它評價極高,並囊刮過世界多個大獎,因而經常一位難求。
餐廳並沒有富麗堂皇的外觀,裏面的陳設十分樸實,淡雅絕塵,給人一種清新的感覺。

服務人員熱情周到,謹慎和專業。對於酒類和菜式如何搭配,知識豐富。
食材非常講究,擺盤精緻,是視覺和嗅覺的雙重盛宴。對我而言,好奇與觀賞的趣味居多,包括菜餚上的花葉裝飾,醬汁中的蔬果,擺盤的容器⋯⋯。
第一道開胃小點上桌,就令人驚艶。盛滿麥角的杯中,矗立著五枝如火炬形狀的小甜筒,捲筒脆餅薄如蟬翼,裏面填滿細柔如綿的紅、白豆沙。冰過的石板上,擺著手作醃漬的酸菜夾,夾中嵌入青豆仁,再灑上研磨過的青豆粉,青翠欲滴,賞心悅目,讓人食欲大開。

那個鹿肉看起來好讚!
回覆刪除名廚的手藝,自然出類拔萃,只是份量很小,你看一旁蘑菇的大小,就知道鹿肉有多大。但是很有藝術觀賞的價值,值得試試!
